Residential, Multifamily and Small Commercial Program Designs
Since 1977, GoodCents® has implemented demand response programs throughout North America. To date, we have installed, provisioned and maintained nearly two million one-way and two-way load control switches, programmable communicating thermostats and gateway devices for regulated utilities of all sizes.
For the past 40 years, we have utilized our in-house field services crew to implement demand response programs. In that time, have achieved more than 1,500 MW of load reduction. GoodCents® is uniquely qualified to implement not just standalone programs, but integrated demand-side management programs as well.
Over the years, we have worked with clients to develop innovative pilots that test new program designs. We typically administer portfolios or implement standalone programs with the following demand response program designs:
How to Build a Strong, Engaged Trade Ally Network
Trade allies can have a profound impact on a utility. Not only do they help you improve your cost effectiveness and customer service, but depending on how well they perform, they can make or break your brand.
Portland General Electric Company (PGE) has released a 2016 Integrated Resource Plan that is designed to improve its energy efficiency, increase its use of renewable resources, and boost its customer-side demand response.
Summer Demand-Response Programs Can be Effective for Small Businesses
A study of 78 small offices, restaurants and retail outlets in Sacramento, California, showed an overwhelmingly positive response to an integrated energy-efficiency/demand-response program for hot summer days.
